The answer is yes yes yes. To be honest our record was while driving to Muncho Lake where we saw I thing 8 bears in one single day along the highway. Of course we did a short stop to take some pictures without getting out of the RV and went on without disturbing the buddy while he was eating gras. I thing that after number 6 we didn't stop anymore..... So yes yothe probability to see black bears along the Alaska Highway is huge. But take care. Do not get out of the car, don't get close, do not disturb them and above all do not feed them. A fed bear is a dead bear......
